Oil and Acrylic on Canvas. Beautiful Westport Beach in Kintyre. I photographed this beach on a visit to Taynloan and was mesmerised by the expanse, the colour of the water and the beauty of the area. I knew I had to paint it and here it is.

On visit to Campbeltown.Kintrye I visited The Gauldrons, a haunting spot that reportedly Robert The Bruce used to train his soldiers. I took some shots and this painting emerged from one of the image references

I had a dream once that I met my beloved dog Nugget on this beach only for a short time and he ran and played. When I visited this beach after he passed the two dogs running and playing in the surf really touched me.
