As an artist and qualified graphic designer, I find inspiration in the beauty of landscapes and the energy of cityscapes. With a passion for painting and a keen eye for design, I aim to capture the essence of the places I love and like to challenge myself with interpretation vs reality.

 

After two decades in  London, I returned to my roots in Scotland to embark on a new chapter in my artistic journey. Drawing from my design expertise and fueled by my love for nature, I immersed myself in the rich landscapes of Scotland, finding solace and inspiration in its rugged beauty.

Searching for the best of both worlds of country and city,  I began painting cityscapes, bringing to life the dynamic energy and architectural marvels of urban environments. Whether it's the serene tranquility of a countryside vista or the lively rhythm of a bustling city street, each brushstroke is, for me, storytelling through art.

 

I believe that art is a universal language that can resonate with people from all walks of life. My hope is that my paintings evoke emotions, stir memories, and ignite imaginations, creating a connection between the viewer and the scene depicted on canvas.
